- Activation: The first time a user experiences the core value of your product
- Acquisition: The rate at which users sign up for your product
- Retention: The rate at which users continue using your product
- Referral: The rate at which users invite other users to your product
- Revenue: The rate at which users pay for your product
- Cohort: A group of users who share a common characteristic
- Funnel: A series of steps that users take to complete a goal
- Paywall: A barrier that prevents users from accessing content without paying
- Dark pattern: A user interface that has been carefully crafted to trick users into doing things, such as buying insurance with their purchase or signing up for recurring bills
- PII: Personally identifiable information, such as name, email, address, phone number, etc.
